GOOD MORNING LEASING

YOUR DAILY DOSE OF LEASING + LIFESTYLE

But first: “You going’ remember me.” — in our best Beyoncé voice.
Because unforgettable isn’t about being loud — it’s about leaving your mark. Here’s some office looks to match your energy.

This week in GML👇

  • Hot List Spotlight: Raleigh NC - 10 Job Leads You Gotta See.

  • PTO aka On your time visit: Voda Boutique

  • Manager Moves: Be an Unforgettable Manager for the Right Reasons.

  • Break Room: Chopped Italian Sandwich (15 minutes)

💌 Editor’s Note - — Be Unforgettable for the Right Reasons

Hey friends,

I’ll never forget an Assistant Manager I worked with years ago. She was smart, knew her stuff—but every time Yardi glitched, she’d yell, slam drawers, and sing loudly to “self-regulate”(assuming). 😅 We’ve all had that kind of day—but it taught me something.

Being unforgettable for the right reasons isn’t about how passionate you are—it’s about how you manage that passion. Nobody wants to work beside chaos, no matter how good you are at your job. Emotional control is emotional intelligence in action.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed,

  • get help.

  • Step away.

  • Text a leasing friend outside your property someone you can vent to without it echoing through the office.

The calmest person in the room usually has the most influence.

So this week, be remembered for your professionalism, not your outbursts. Control your energy, protect your reputation, and keep your composure—because your legacy is in how you handle pressure.

PTO

Voda Boutique

If “treat yourself” were a storefront, it would look exactly like Voda.
Imagine a shop where every rack whispers, “Yes girl, you need this,” and every piece feels like it was hand-picked for your next soft-life moment. Think elevated basics, weekend-trip dresses, and accessories that make even your leasing-office polo feel intentional.

It’s the kind of boutique you walk into for “one thing” and walk out with a whole new personality.
Consider yourself warned.

Be Unforgettable for the Right Reasons.

In leadership, people remember your energy long before they remember your emails. Your reputation is built in the small moments—in how you communicate, how you correct, how you handle pressure, and how you treat people who can’t do anything for you.

Being unforgettable isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room. It’s about being the leader who makes people feel supported, safe, and sharpened.

Here’s how to build the kind of leadership presence people talk about—in a good way:

1️⃣ Stay composed under pressure.

Teams watch your reactions more than your instructions. Your calm becomes their calm.

2️⃣ Correct with clarity, not ego.

High-trust leaders give direction without belittling. You can be firm without being condescending.

3️⃣ Communicate like a professional, even when you’re frustrated.

Tone is remembered long after the task is done.

4️⃣ Be the leader who prepares, not the leader who panics.

When you’re organized, informed, and proactive, the team mirrors that behavior.

5️⃣ Invest in your people.

The leaders who take time to coach, give feedback, and advocate for their teams are the ones people never forget.

6️⃣ Protect your brand.

Your leadership identity follows you from property to property. Make sure it reflects maturity, emotional intelligence, and reliability.

This week’s reflection: Is my presence elevating the room or overwhelming it?

Break Room: Chopped Italian Sub (Quick Lunch)

Think of this as your favorite Italian sub… but office-friendly, no crumbs, and no microwave needed.
Everything gets chopped, tossed, and mixed into a perfect little bowl of crunchy, savory goodness.

@hannahstyleau

The hype is real. #italianchoppedsalad #italianchoppedsandwich #choppedsandwich #italiansandwich #lunchideas

Ingredients (serves 1–2)
  • 2–3 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce

  • 4–5 slices salami, chopped

  • 4–5 slices pepperoni or ham, chopped

  • 2 slices provolone or mozzarella, chopped

  • ¼ cup banana peppers (the secret ingredient)

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp parmesan (optional but chef’s kiss)

  • Croutons (optional for crunch)

Dressing
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Pinch of salt + black pepper

  • Small squeeze of Dijon mustard (optional but adds a vibe)

How to Make It

  1. Grab a cutting board and chop everything small — the tiny dice is what makes it addictive.

  2. Throw all the chopped ingredients into a bowl.

  3. In a separate cup, whisk together the dressing ingredients.

  4. Pour over the bowl and toss until everything is coated and glossy.

  5. Add croutons or parmesan if you’re feeling fancy.

Take a picture because this one always looks good. Enjoy!
