Pause what you’re doing when a resident stops by. Look up, smile, and engage. A few seconds of undivided attention can shift an entire conversation.

Step 2: Create Small Traditions

Step 3: Partner With Maintenance

Break Room — Lunch You’ll Actually Look Forward To

Chicken Souvlaki Wraps 🔥

Because sometimes the best lunch ideas are the ones that make you look like you meal prep—even if you didn’t.

🧂 You’ll need:

  • 2 chicken breasts or 300g boneless thighs, cut into chunks

  • Olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, salt & pepper

  • 150g self-raising flour + 150g Greek yogurt for the no-prove flatbreads

  • 2 large potatoes (for homemade oven chips)

  • Cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic, dill or mint for tzatziki

  • Sliced tomatoes + red onion to serve

👩🏾‍🍳 How to make it:

  1. Marinate & grill the chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt & pepper. Skewer & cook 8–10 minutes until golden.

  2. Flatbreads: Mix flour + Greek yogurt + pinch of salt, roll out, and cook 1–2 minutes each side in a hot dry pan.

  3. Chips: Parboil potatoes 5 minutes, toss with olive oil, oregano, and salt, then roast 25–30 minutes at 200°C (flip halfway).

  4. Tzatziki: Grate cucumber, squeeze out water, then mix with yogurt, garlic, lemon, olive oil, dill/mint, and salt.

  5. Assemble: Layer your flatbread with tzatziki, chicken, tomato, chips, and a squeeze of lemon.

👉 Pro tip: pack it for lunch in a glass meal prep container and toss it in your insulated lunch bag so it stays fresh until break time.
